VIS KM-12 Polylithic Upper, KeyMod
The same upper VLTOR used in the M16A5 concept submission to the Marine Corps. A polylithic design where the upper receiver and handguard are physically fused into one rigid piece.
Polylithic Construction
A forged upper and a 6061 extruded handguard, permanently fused rather than bolted. There is no joint between receiver and rail, which means nothing to shift or work loose.
A standard 1913 rail spans the length of the top for optics and accessories.
Removable Bottom
The lower section of the handguard comes off, which is what lets you install a standard AR-15 barrel in a monolithic style upper. It also clears the way for an M203, and the mounting bracket is included.
KeyMod
KeyMod slots along the handguard for lights, grips, and sling mounts. Note this is KeyMod rather than M-LOK, so check what your accessories use before ordering.
