A5 Rifle Buffer Spring
This is the standard rifle length buffer spring from VLTOR, designed specifically for A5 buffer systems.
The A5 system works because it moves more mass over a longer rifle length spring rather than a carbine spring. That combination is what produces the more consistent cyclic action the system is known for, and it means a rifle length spring is required. A carbine spring will not work in an A5 setup.
This is the factory spring and the correct starting point for any A5 build. If you need more spring rate, the Sprinco Green is stronger and is what SOLGW recommends for most A5 setups.
What You Need To Complete The System
An A5 setup requires this spring, an A5 buffer in your chosen weight, and an A5 length receiver extension. We stock three: the VLTOR RE-A5, the RE-10/A5SR, and the Forward Controls Design RE5F.
