The GASCAP™ uses USB-C Connectivity to provide unparalleled performance, reliability and modularity. Using the USB-C System creates a much more reliable system that can handle a higher output with near-zero-loss and consistent activation.
Modularity
The GASCAP™ features a lateral and reversible interface on the tailcap itself which allows the user to mount the switch and route wiring however they prefer without jeopardizing a solid connection or proper cable management. The LINK™ Compatible light switches feature a low profile USB-C connector that fits seamlessly under the included cage to prevent any sort of snag hazard or unnecessary protrusion of the connected devices, keeping it extremely low profile. The side mounted plug for pressure switches on the GASCAP provides an overall slimmer, and less snag-prone setup as the wire is always directed towards the handguard of the rifle, rather than coming out of the rear of the cap as such on traditional tail caps. This also allows the Gascap to have a full size rear activation pad should you decide to activate your light with the built in rear clicky-cap.
Durability
The GASCAP™ is made from High-Impact polymer designed to survive the most adverse environments. It is waterproof up to 1 Meter for 30 Minutes. Included with a tailcap is a cage that protects the cable and ensures solid lockup when connected. The USB-C connection for LINK pressure pads is secured with an included 2 piece cage that keeps your plug and wire secure and close to the rifle.
Redundancy
The GASCAP™ features a built in rear clicky cap along with the USB-C port for your Link™ compatible pressure switch, so if you ever have an issue with your pressure switch, are switching setups around, or just genuinely prefer to activate your light via a clicky cap, the GASCAP offers it all. Because the GASCAP features a laterally mounted plug, the entire rear of the cap serves as an activation switch, giving you more surface area to activate the switch from.
