DS00 Switch & Tail Cap
A waterproof switch assembly for SureFire Scout Light and Modlite weapon lights, with a click on/off pushbutton and a system disable feature.
Two Switches, One Assembly
The integrated pushbutton and the remote switch operate independently of one another. If one fails or gets damaged, the other still works.
That redundancy is the point of the DS00. A pressure pad taped to a handguard is exposed, and a tailcap that only works through the pad leaves you without a light when the pad goes.
System Disable
The disable feature locks the light out entirely, so it cannot be switched on by a pressure pad pressed against gear in a bag or a case.
Construction
A two piece, O-ring sealed housing keeps water out of the switch assembly.
