LEAP/01 Mount for Aimpoint Micro
A quick detach mount for the Aimpoint Micro, designed to be light, rigid, and compact while returning to zero after removal.
ClickDrive
Many QD mounts use clamping force and friction to resist vibration, which means the hold depends on how much torque gets applied at install.
Scalarworks' patented ClickDrive mechanism separates the two functions, so clamping force and vibration resistance are handled independently. It is self adjusting and does not rely on a specific torque value to stay put.
A low profile recessed thumbwheel deflects impacts while letting you pull the mount quickly, with or without gloves.
The Clamp
An oversize hooded thru-hole buttresses the thumbscrew's shank at the largest diameter that will fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened, precision ground steel pins is press fitted into the clamp and acts as guides.
The optic ring uses a precision fitted hinge that applies even pressure around the sight body without the setup traditional rings require. Twin oversize CNC machined shoulder screws provide even tension and act as structural elements rather than just fasteners.
Optic Compatibility
The LEAP/01 fits the Aimpoint Micro series: T1, T2, H1, and H2.
Running a different optic? The LEAP/10 fits the Aimpoint Duty RDS and Comp M5s, and the LEAP/12 fits the EOTech EXPS.
Adding a magnifier? The LEAP/06 mounts the Aimpoint magnifier and the LEAP/16 the EOTech.
Which Height?
The LEAP/01 is available in two heights. 1.57 inches gives you a lower third cowitness with standard AR iron sights. 1.93 inches raises the optic for a more upright head position, which is common on builds running night vision or a helmet.
