Rearden FHD Flash Hider
The FHD from Rearden is a 3 Prong Flash Hider that also serves as a suppressor mount compatible with Rearden Atlas, Atlas XL and Atlas Helios QD and Plan B Suppressor Mounts.
About the Devices
Rearden muzzle devices feature the Atlas/Plan B suppressor mounting system that utilizes a combination of a taper and external threads. This system provides a repeatable and reliable suppressor mount that doesn’t add unnecessary weight, weight, or potential failure points with mechanical locks and latches.
The FHD uses a 3 prong design to mitigate flash signature.
Rearden Atlas & Plan B Compatible Suppressor Mount
All Rearden muzzle devices are compatible with the Rearden Atlas, Atlas XL, Atlas Helios QD and Plan B Suppressor Mounts.
Rearden Muzzle devices and Atlas’ are available in both a Heat Treat (gold) and a Nitride finish (black). The Nitride finish does lend itself to a tighter seal. Finishes on the muzzle device and adapter do not have to match (i.e. you can use a heat treat muzzle device with a nitride Atlas, etc. It will all still function)
Rearden muzzle devices are equipped with rear mounted wrench flats, allowing you to properly torque your muzzle device during installation and remove it should it ever get stuck or carbon locked.

Q: What size wrench do I need to install the Rearden FHD?
The Rearden SPB and all Rearden Muzzle Devices are equipped with 13/16” wrench flats. Although this sizing is not common along most muzzle devices/armorer's wrenches, a simple 13/16” crowfoot wrench can be purchased online for cheap.
Q: Is the FHD long enough to Pin and Weld?
While almost any muzzle device can be pinned and welded, these “short” Rearden devices would require a barrel length of ~15.1” to comfortably bring this device over over the 16” that most folks are aiming to achieve with a pinned and welded muzzle device. The “long” rearden muzzle devices such as the R2C and R2 will bring a 14.5” barrel over 16” when pinned and welded.
*Use on Q Cans will void your warranty
*Please Note all Rearden Muzzle Devices available at Revival Defense are standard Square Shoulder unless specified otherwise. If you are looking for a very specific variation such as 25 degree taper or Face mount, they are available directly from Rearden
