Mod 2 Lower Parts Kit — Basic
A lower parts completion kit assembled from premium components rather than mil-spec filler. Built for the Hodge Mod 2, and it works in any standard AR-15 lower.
Basic or Full?
The Basic kit covers the fire control housing hardware, controls, and pins. You supply the trigger, grip, stock, and buffer system.
The Full kit adds a LaRue MBT-2S trigger, a complete carbine buffer system with an H2 buffer, an FCD CNF castle nut and ESF-H1 end plate, and Magpul furniture.
Notable Components
The HF-601 takedown and pivot pins are the Hodge and Forward Controls Design collaboration, styled after the Colt 601 and running 0.040 inches longer than standard.
The Badger Ordnance C1 safety selector and Badger enhanced bolt catch are both parts we run ourselves and stock individually.
The FCD EMR-H serrated magazine button sits only 0.02 inches taller than factory, which keeps it below the fence and harder to bump.
The KNS takedown and pivot detents replace the standard detents with a more durable construction.
