HODGE DEFENSE
Mod 1 Stripped Upper Receiver
A thermal fit forged 7075 upper receiver made to the HDSI design. Mil-spec in style with slightly improved specifications for upper rigidity and a better barrel to upper interface.
The barrel seat bore is undersized and requires thermal fitting to install a barrel.
Tolerances
Precision machined to Hodge Defense's specifications and held within plus or minus .001 inches on critical dimensions. Forged 7075-T6 with Type III hardcoat anodizing per MIL-A-8625.
Building It Out
Hodge makes cold hammer forged barrels in 11.5, 12.5, and 16 inch, along with a .750 gas block and a C158 bolt carrier group.
For the handguard, both the Pinch Lock and Spine Lock lines fit, and this receiver is drilled for their alignment pin.
The Hodge LSFA low shelf forward assist, built with Forward Controls Design, is the forward assist Hodge uses on their own complete uppers.
