.750 Low Profile Gas Block
A low profile gas block with a .750 journal, precision machined from 4140 steel and pre-drilled for pinning.
Pre-Drilled for Pinning
Set screws hold a gas block well, but they can fail, like any screw. Pinning adds a secondary level of security on top of that, which is worth having on a hard use rifle. This block arrives already drilled for it, with a stainless coil pin included.
Three knurled set screws are included as well.
Doing the work yourself? The FCD GBU gas block utility is the fixture for it, holding the block and barrel while you drive the pin.
Gas Tube Access
A hole in the front of the block lets you push the gas tube out rather than fighting it from the rear. A minor feature until the moment you need to pull a gas tube on an assembled upper.
Matching Barrels
All three Hodge cold hammer forged barrels use a .750 journal, so this block fits the 11.5 inch, 12.5 inch, and 16 inch directly.
