The Bolt
Carpenter 158 is the steel specified in the technical data package, and it remains the standard against which AR bolts are judged. Every bolt is magnetic particle inspected before it leaves.
Staking and Testing
Gas key screws backing out is one of the more common ways an AR stops working, and it happens because the screws were never staked properly in the first place. These are staked correctly.
Every carrier group is individually inspected and test fired before it ships.
Building the Rest of the Upper
Hodge also makes Pinch Lock and Spine Lock M-LOK handguards, cold hammer forged barrels, and a .750 low profile gas block.
