Forward Controls Design PF-040 MARS-H & SR25 Extended Takedown/Pivot Pins
Designed Specifically for the LMT MARS-H, Knight’s Armament SR25/M110 and Centurion Arms MK11. The PF-040 are 0.040” longer than the factory takedown and pivot pins, making them much easier to push out.
The PF-040, especially on extremely tight receiver sets, is a welcomed upgrade to the platform. With the use of gloves or in cold weather, the slightly extended and dimpled left side of the pins makes them extremely easy to use. We’ve also found them to be helpful if you’re one of those folks who may break down their rifles for storage in range bags, or use multiple upper receivers on a single lower.
Features
“Reverse Extended” Design
The PF-040 extended takedown pins are extended on the left side of the receiver, rather than on the head side in order to not interfere with ambidextrous safety selectors. The extra length, when pressed in give the user more leverage to pull the right “head” side out
Dimpled Pinhead
The right side of the pinheads are both smooth, with a slight 45 degree chamfer, while the left side of the pins both feature a small dimple, which allows the end user to push the pins in with the tip of bullets (up to 9mm) should the extra leverage be needed.
Machined 17-4
Like all FCD products, robust and precise manufacturing was taken into account in design. The PF-040 are machined from 17-4 PH SS Bar stock and QPQ Finished
The PF-040 are sold as standalone pins, however optional takedown & pivot pin detents (4) and springs (3) can be added from the dropdown menu.
