URF-F Forged AR Upper Receiver
A cost effective TDP spec forged upper receiver with a few subtle changes. 7075-T6 hard coat anodized in black per MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2.
Anti-Rotation Pin Hole
The URF-F has an anti-rotation pin hole, which is what handguards from Hodge Defense, SOLGW, ICON, and ZEV need to index against.
Current production also carries a relief cut on top, similar to the Centurion CM4 upper, to accommodate the anti-rotation pins used by Hodge, FN, and ZEV handguards.
If you are building around the FCD RFH-H handguard, this is the upper it was designed to pair with.
Rear Bevel
Relief cuts and chamfers at the rear of the receiver make it easier to get a finger on a flip up iron sight that sits flush against the side of the upper. A small change that matters the moment you need the sight up.
Before You Order
The URF-F is not thermal fit. This is a stripped upper receiver, so no forward assist, ejection port cover, or hardware is included.
Building it out? The LDFA low drag forward assist and the EPC ejection port cover are the FCD parts that go here.
