SBT - SRO & RMR HD Battery Tool
The SBT, or SRO Battery tool is a dedicated tool designed for use with the Trijicon SRO, RMR HD, Vortex Defender ST and the EOTech EFLX.
The SRO and RMR HD both have the battery cover partially covered by the hood of the sight, preventing direct access with a typical screwdriver, requiring the user to angle the tool, preventing full engagement that can lead to cross threading during reinstallation and damaging the slots themselves.
The SBT solves this by a unique design that features a full size screw head and a thinned out center section allowing the head to fully seat on the battery cap itself while fitting around the offset of the optic hood. The SBT is a collaboration between Forward Controls Design and FischerPrecision3D.
