OPF-S RMR Staccato Optic Plate
The OPF-S RMR is a full steel optic plate for optics ready Staccato P, C, C2, and CS pistols with the DPO cut. Precision milled from a solid block of 4140 and nitride coated, with no moving parts.
Compatible with the Trijicon RMR, RMR HD, SRO, and RCR. It carries a dovetail for the steel rear sight Forward Controls makes for the OPF-S RMR and OPF-S ACRO, available as an option above.
Why Steel Instead of Aluminum
Most optic plates on the market are machined from aluminum. Forward Controls Design does not make aluminum plates. An optic plate is a structural interface that absorbs every recoil impulse the slide produces, and it carries threaded holes that a red dot is torqued into. Aluminum threads are the first thing to fail under that load, and once they deform the optic loosens.
The OPF-S RMR is milled from solid 4140. Weight was reduced with a lightening cut rather than by switching to a softer material.
Fitment
Fits Staccato P, C, C2, and CS with the DPO optics cut. It does not fit the Staccato HD series, or Staccato pistols with the older Duo optics cut.
Works with the factory or aftermarket 0.265 and 0.285 front sight. When ordering a front sight, measure yours from the top of the slide and order the matching height. Some models ship with taller sights than the one FCD developed against.

Before You Order
A sealer plate is required with the Trijicon RMR. The lightening cut on this plate means either a Trijicon or aftermarket RMR sealing plate must be used.
Running an RCR? Use the capstan screws that came with the optic.
Dawson Precision DP03 owners: the rear sight dovetail is compatible with the 2011 DP03 Optics Mount System tactical kit. Not every DPO rear sight will fit this dovetail, so check yours against the DP03 before ordering.
Installation
Plate to slide, M4 0.7 x 8mm: torque to 20 to 25 in-lb. Sight to plate, 6-32 x 3/8: torque to 13 in-lb. A torque wrench in inch-pound increments is required. FCD is phasing out the included L keys, and a proper torque wrench is the correct tool for this job regardless.
From October 2023, FCD began transitioning sight to plate screws from T10 to T15.
