OPF-S ACRO Staccato Optic Plate
The OPF-S ACRO is a full steel optic plate for optics ready Staccato P, C, C2, and CS pistols with the DPO cut. Precision milled from a solid block of 4140 and nitride coated, with no moving parts.
Compatible with the Aimpoint ACRO P1 and P2, and the Steiner MPS. It carries a dovetail for the steel rear sight Forward Controls makes for the OPF-S ACRO and OPF-S RMR, available as an option above.
Why Steel Instead of Aluminum
Most optic plates on the market are machined from aluminum. Forward Controls Design does not make aluminum plates. An optic plate is a structural interface that absorbs every recoil impulse the slide produces, and it carries threaded holes that a red dot is torqued into. Aluminum threads are the first thing to fail under that load, and once they deform the optic loosens.
The OPF-S ACRO is milled from solid 4140. Plates shipping from mid-July 2024 carry lightening cuts to reduce reciprocating mass.
Fitment
Fits Staccato P, C, C2, and CS with the DPO optics cut. It does not fit the Staccato HD series, or pre-2000 Staccato pistols with the older Duo optics cut.
Works with the factory or aftermarket 0.265 and 0.285 front sight. The FCD OPF-S RS steel rear sight pairs with the 2011 P's 0.285 front sight and the C2's 0.265 front sight.

Before You Order
Use a genuine Aimpoint or Steiner optic. FCD does not guarantee fit with the cheap copies sold with an ACRO footprint. The plate is cut to the real footprint's tolerances.
Dawson Precision DP03 owners: the rear sight dovetail is compatible with the 2011 DP03 Optics Mount System tactical kit. Not every DPO rear sight will fit this dovetail, so check yours against the DP03 before ordering.
Torque Values
- Plate to slide, M4 0.7 x 8mm screws (included): 20 to 25 in-lb
- Aimpoint ACRO sight to plate: 26 in-lb
- Steiner MPS sight to plate: 18 in-lb, per Steiner's updated 2024 value
A torque wrench in inch-pound increments is required. Note the ACRO and MPS take different values.
Vibra-tite VC-3 is included. Application instructions and an overview video on applying VC-3 are available from Vibra-tite.
