OPF-G6 ACRO Glock Gen 6 ACRO Optic Plate
The FCD OPF-G6 ACRO is a precision machined, 17-4 steel optic mounting plate for 6th Generation Glock Pistols compatible with Aimpoint ACRO and Steiner MPS Optics.
The OPF-G6 plates from FCD, unlike many options on the market are designed to utilize all the features of the Gen 6 ORS mounting system to evenly disperse pressure across the system during cycling, or in the case should the optic take an impact, reducing the isolation of pressure to one specific point of the plate, creating a rock solid mounting foundation for your optic and reducing the chances of a critical failure.
The Glock Gen 6 mounting pocket has a spindle shaped cavity/depression designed to prevent the plates from rotating, shifting longitudinally and laterally. All OPF-G6 plates have a bottom contoured to fit and fill out the spindle cavity, they also have a small relief in the rear to make use and engage the pocket's rear locking tab. When installing OPF-G6 plates, the rear of the plate must be inserted into the rear ORS pocket at an angle, the front of the plate then can be rotated down into the pocket, the same way factory polymer inserts are installed. The Glock Gen 6 provides means to secure the plate in the ORS slide and the FCD OPF-G6 plates take full advantage of the tools Glock provides.
