FORWARD CONTROLS DESIGN
OPF-G EFLX / DPP Glock MOS Optic Plate
The OPF-G EFLX mounts the EOTech EFLX or Leupold DeltaPoint Pro to a Glock MOS slide. Billet machined from 4140, heat treated and black nitride coated.
It is the same plate for both optics. If the engraving reads DPP only, that is the correct plate for an EFLX as well.
Read This Before Installing
Do not use DeltaPoint Pro sight to plate screws with an EFLX. DPP screws are longer. Torquing them down with an EFLX installed can bend or break the plate.
Sight to plate screws are not included with this plate. Use the screws that shipped with your optic. For the EFLX, that is the EOTech supplied 9.75mm M4 screws.
Why Steel Instead of Aluminum
Most Glock optic plates on the market are machined from aluminum. Forward Controls Design does not make aluminum plates. An optic plate is a structural interface that absorbs every recoil impulse the slide produces, and it carries threaded holes that a red dot is torqued into. Aluminum threads are the first thing to fail under that load, and once they deform the optic loosens.
Keeping the Sight Immobile
The OPF-G EFLX uses the same proven design as the OPF-G RMR: hold the sight immobile, which is the simplest and most effective way to keep sight to plate screws from loosening and shearing.
The EFLX uses four recoil lugs, twice as many as the RMR, and beefier mounting screws. The challenge is still the same. This plate adds a front and rear fence, and the tight tolerances on both the plate to slide and sight to plate interfaces keep movement along the bore to a minimum under recoil.
Fitment
Fits Glock MOS slides on the G17, G19, G20, G21, G22, G23, G26, G34, G40, G45, G47, and G49. It does not fit the slim line G43X or G48.
This is a Glock MOS plate, not a footprint adapter. It does not convert an RMR footprint to a DPP or EFLX footprint. It also does not fit the LE only MOS3 (DPP), MOS5 (RMR), MOS6 (Holosun 509T), or MOS7 (ACRO).
Running a Trijicon optic instead? See the OPF-G RMR plate. For an Aimpoint ACRO or Steiner MPS, see the OPF-G ACRO plate.
Backup Iron Sights
The EFLX requires backup sights with at least a 0.365 front sight height. At 0.365 they sit very low in the EFLX window, with only the tops visible. A 0.407 set is easier to use.
Installation
Plate to slide torque is 13 in-lb. Sight to plate torque is 20 to 25 in-lb. A torque wrench in inch-pound increments is required for both.
Vibra-tite VC-3 is included. Application instructions and an overview video on applying VC-3 are available from Vibra-tite.
