JCW Joint Castle Nut Wrench
The FCD JCW (Joint Castle Nut Wrench) is a dedicated, heavy duty twin head castle nut wrench. The JCW is precision machined from 4140 steel, heat treated and black oxide coated for a lifetime of service.
Forward Controls Design was unhappy with current market offerings due to them being either too bulky, unwieldy or made from cheap stamped sheet metal that couldn’t handle the proper torque values required for a castle nut over repeated use.
One end features a standard 3 lug, 180 degree castle nut wrench, while the opposite end uses a 2 lug, 90 degree design for end plates that partially block castle nut access, including QD socket styles.
A centered 1/2 inch drive allows direct use with a torque wrench, with the correct 38 to 42 ft lb torque value engraved on the tool. No torque correction is required.
