CH 1301 Beretta 1301 Charging Handle
A replacement charging handle for the Beretta 1301, 1301 Mod 2, and A400 shotguns. Solid single piece 17-4 stainless with a nitride finish.
The Off Axis Problem
The factory charging handle is tapered, which means the force you apply to it does not travel straight into the carrier. Some of it goes off axis.
The CH 1301 is shaped so pressure applies more linearly. The result is a smoother pull and more consistent activation, particularly when you are working the gun fast.
The Flared End
The flare centers your finger on the handle without needing an aggressive texture to do it. Your hand lands in the same place each time by geometry rather than friction.
It is slightly shorter than the factory handle and slightly heavier, both a consequence of the solid one piece construction.
