ATA Adjustable Turret Cap, Aimpoint T1 / T2
A pair of 17-4 stainless turret caps that let you adjust windage and elevation on an Aimpoint T1, H1, or T2 without taking the caps off.
The Problem With Factory Caps
To adjust a T1, H1, or T2 you unscrew the cap, flip it 180 degrees, mate the two protrusions with the indentations on the adjustment, and rotate. Then you fire, check, and do it again. Zeroing is rarely one step.
The caps are small and easy to lose. They are also small enough that dummy cording them is impractical, and the sight itself offers nowhere useful to loop a tether.
How the ATA Works
Each ATA cap holds a rotating 17-4 stainless disc with an externally accessible top slot. The disc has two protrusions that mate with the indentations on the sight's adjustment dial.
To adjust, rotate the disc with the rim of a cartridge or a coin. The caps stay on the sight. FCD tested .223, .308, .45 ACP, and 9mm rims.
The caps carry 12 serrations to assist installation, matching the tick marks inside the factory T1 cap.
Water Resistance
An internal O-ring keeps moisture out. In immersion testing the ATA matched the single piece factory cap down to 77 feet.
Worth knowing: T1 and T2 adjustments are water resistant even with no caps at all, but Aimpoint only warranties the sight to its rated depth with caps installed.
Before You Order
This version fits the T1, H1, and T2 only. It is not compatible with the Comp M5. For that sight, see the ATA M5.
When installing, do not remove the O-rings already present on the sight.
