CM4 AR-15 Forged Upper Receiver
A mil-spec forged upper receiver machined from 7075-T4 aluminum, for use with standard M4 barrel extensions.
Standard or Thermal Fit
The CM4 is offered in two variants.
Standard mil-spec takes a barrel with a normal clearance fit.
Thermal fit uses a tighter barrel seat and requires the application of heat to install a barrel. The result is a tighter barrel to receiver interface.
Finish
Type III Class 2 hard coat anodized, with a MIL-STD-1913 rail across the top.
Completing the Receiver
This is a stripped receiver, so it needs a forward assist, ejection port cover, and charging handle.
We stock all three from Forward Controls Design: the LSFA low shelf forward assist built to clear an ambi charging handle latch, the EPC ejection port cover, and the ACF ambidextrous charging handle.
