C4 Sandcutter Hard Chrome Bolt Carrier
A full auto weight bolt carrier in V1 8620 steel, fully hard chrome finished, with Sandcutter rail cuts. Made in house by Centurion Arms.
This is a stripped carrier. No bolt, cam pin, firing pin, or retainer included.
The Sandcutter Cuts
Relief cuts along the carrier rails give debris somewhere to go rather than packing into the clearance between carrier and receiver. In sand, dust, or fine grit, that is what keeps the carrier moving.
The redesign came from end user feedback rather than a catalog feature list. All critical dimensions meet or exceed Technical Data Package requirements.
The Gas Key
Mil-spec, chromed, chrome lined, and heat treated per the TDP. It is secured with OCKS carrier key screws and staked during final inspection.
OCKS screws use a larger head and a deeper broached socket than standard grade 8 screws, which gives the staking more material to displace and the driver more purchase during installation.
Hard Chrome
Hard chrome is harder and slicker than phosphate, and more corrosion resistant. Carbon has less to grip, so a fouled carrier wipes down with less effort, and the lower friction surface reduces wear where the carrier rides in the receiver.
Completing the Group
Centurion makes the rest of the assembly: the E4 ETB tapered bolt, the V2 dual ejector bolt, and the 6mm ARC and 6.5G enhanced dual ejector bolt, plus the cam pin, firing pin, and firing pin retainer.
