Spooky 1/A1 Flash Hider & 1x16LH Suppressor Mount
A closed tine flash hider that doubles as a 1x16LH suppressor mount. Threaded 1/2x28 and machined from 4140 with a nitride finish.
Mounting System
The CAT Spooky 1/A1 in 1/2x28 uses the 1x16LH mounting system, a thread and taper interface with left hand threads.
Mounts directly to any silencer or adapter built around 1x16LH, including the CAT QD, CGS SCI-SIX, Cobalt Kinetics Scrambler, and silencers from Blackbird RD and SOF Group.
Compatible with HUB silencers using a 1x16LH HUB adapter such as the CAT TSF X or the AI EXT HUB QD.

5.56 and 9mm
The Spooky 1/A1 is rated for both 5.56 / .223 and 9mm, so the same device works whether you are building an AR or a PCC. No separate 9mm version to source.
Neutral Timed
The Spooky 1/A1 does not need to be timed to any particular orientation. No shims, no clocking, no crush washer. Thread it on and go.
That is a real difference from a shimmed brake such as the AI RB2, which has to be indexed correctly to work as designed.
Decoding the Spooky Names
CAT's naming is simple once you know it. Spooky1 is the flash hider, Spooky2 is the muzzle brake. A1 is 5.56 in 1/2x28, A2 is 7.62 in 5/8x24.

Pin and Weld
