Why Suppressors Walk Off Pistols
Most pistol and PCC suppressors are hand tightened onto the barrel with no secondary retention and no meaningful torque value. Under cycling, that connection works itself loose. The can walks off, and the first sign is usually a shift in impact.
The 15 degree taper on this barrel gives the piston a shoulder to seat against rather than relying on thread friction alone. That produces a far more secure lockup while keeping installation as simple as threading the can on by hand.
