The 6315RF (Revival Defense, Forward Controls) is a Closed-Tine, Closed-Bottom, Flash Hider and "Plan B" Compatible Tapered Suppressor Mount in 1/2x28.
About The 6315RF:
When designing the 6315RF, we set out to create our ideal muzzle device while incorporating the "Plan B / Rearden" Type Tapered Suppressor Mount. We had an idea; a Closed Tine, Closed Bottom Flash Hider Compatible with Rearden/Plan B Suppressor Mounts, and reached out to our friends at Forward Controls who already designed the "6315" line of muzzle devices which have the functional features we already sought after to see if they had any interest, and thus the 6315RF was created. The 6315RF and 6310RF are based on the successful FCD 6315 series of muzzle devices, that include the features that we sought after incorporating in to our device. Notably, a closed tine, closed bottom flash hider, with the capability to securely mount a silencer all whilst maintaining a profile that does not add unnecessary weight or length to the end of your rifle.
The 6315RF is a closed bottom muzzle device that does require timing to ensure the center port faces 12 O'clock Dead Center. Available here is a link to Forward Controls Website as to why we primarily prefer closed bottom muzzle devices :

Flash Comparison:
Included are Stills of the Flash Testing we conducted using both a 16" and 10.5" AR15 using Winchester M193 5.56 55 Grain Ammo with both the 6315RF and a TDP Spec A2 Birdcage Flash Hider. As expected, a 16" barrel will not produce a large flash signature, while occasional fireballs tend to erupt out of a 10.5" Barrel. Ammo can and does change flash signature, and all of the photos below were using the same M193 ammunition.
The 6315RF's length is shorter than a Standard A2 Birdcage Flash Hider (1.76" overall vs the 6315RF at 1.725" overall) with external threads further reducing the amount of space available for ports. The flash suppression performance is similar to the A2
