The RF (Revival Defense, Forward Controls) Muzzle Devices were designed to be compact, yet practical and effective standalone muzzle devices which also serve as a reliable suppressor mount that doesn’t add unnecessary weight or length to the front of your rifle.
Features
Single Chamber Muzzle Brake
Muzzle Brakes can greatly reduce felt recoil, aiding in quicker follow up shots and better target tracking, but this does not come without a cost. Muzzle brakes greatly increase the report of the gun shot along with the flash signature, which is why as a standalone device we typically lean towards a flash hider. However, muzzle brakes act as a sacrificial first baffle, so for those using a suppressor they may be more appealing, especially on a setup that is going to almost always have a suppressor on it.
Plan B & Rearden Atlas Compatible Suppressor Mount
Our RF Series of Muzzle Devices feature a suppressor mount compatible with Rearden Atlas and Plan B Type Mounts. This suppressor mounting system utilizes a taper and threads to ensure a proper seal that is repeatable and reliable without adding unnecessary weight or length to the system.
Nitride Finish
The Nitriding process greatly increases the surface hardness of the muzzle device while lending itself to a tighter seal in the suppressor itself.
Standardized Wrench Flats
RF Series Muzzle Devices Feature 3/4” Wrench Flats for ease of installation. The FCD JMW, Armorers Wrench or any other 3/4" Wrench can be used for installation

Installation
The 1210RF must be timed. The Cygnus and RD logo should be at the bottom with the unengraved side facing top dead center when properly installed. Allow Rocksett to cure for at least 12 hours before use. Make sure to check alignment with your suppressor before use.
FAQ
Q: Is the 1210RF long enough to be Pinned and Welded?
Yes and No. Anything “can” be pinned and welded, but you would need an approximately ~15.1” barrel to comfortably bring this device over the 16” length that most folks are aiming to achieve with a pinned and welded device. So why is there a blind hole? The reason the blind hole is there is simply because it added no cost and virtually no additional time in the manufacturing process to add to the devices with no downsides in performance or durability while offering more options to our customers.
Q: What Suppressors can I use this with?
The options are virtually endless, as long as the suppressor features a “HUB” 1.375x24 threaded rear end, you can install our Atlas-R or Rearden Atlas and use the RF Muzzle devices. Q: Should I buy a muzzle brake if I plan to primarily shoot suppressed?

It’s really up to you. It will reduce erosion in the blast chamber over time, but with modern, quality suppressors built for durability, even on shorter barrel rifles that generate extreme amounts of pressure at the muzzle, we’re typically talking tens of thousands of rounds that most suppressors will last, that’s multiple barrels and likely tens of thousands of dollars in ammunition in today's world before these things start to show extreme wear. Most suppressor manufacturers understand that most of us don’t want to purchase an item, wait hundreds of days for an unconstitutional waiting period and end up with a suppressor that might only last a year or two of serious usage on a common platform. That being said, we like to consider all factors with our muzzle device choices; what do you want the device to do as a standalone device primarily. If you don’t care about what the muzzle device does like hiding the flash when you do not have a suppressor attached, then we would go with a muzzle brake. If you want a device that mitigates flash and concussion, our 6315RF and 6310RF are available HERE. While the erosion is a consideration, it absolutely would not sway our decision past the performance of the device on its own. Purchase based on what you want the device to do, and your individual use case.
